A When driving on a lane other than
the vehicle in front of you.
B With vehicles entering the edge
of your lane. The system can only
detect these vehicles once they
move fully into your lane.
C There may be issues with detection
of vehicles in front when driving into
and/or coming out of a road curve
Note:
In these cases,
the system may
apply the brakes later or
unexpectedly. You should stay alert
and take action when necessary.
If
something hits the front end of your
vehicle or damage occurs, the sensor-
sensing zone may change. This could
cause missed or false vehicle
detection.
Cruise Control (If Equipped)
Detection Issues Can Occur:
The sensor has a limited field of view.
It may not detect vehicles at all or
detect a vehicle later than expected in
some situations. An advancing vehicle
indication will not turn on if the system
does not detect a vehicle in front of
you.
l The adaptive cruise control only
works as an assistant driving system,
and should not be perceived as
replacement for the driver.
l In environments where sensor
signals are intensely reflected
(e.g.multi-storey car parks, tunnels,
etc.), sensor performance may be
reduced. Please cancel or turn off
the function.
l The adaptive cruise control only
works as an assistant driving system,
and should not be perceived as
replacement for the driver.
l Adaptive cruise control is indicated
for use on highways or roads in good
conditions. Not recommended for
use on urban or mountain roads.
l The adaptive cruise control only
works for vehicles traveling forward
in the same direction and on
the same lane, it does not work for
cars coming in the opposite
direction, crossing horizontally,
stationary or slow-moving, neither
for pedestrians, animals and other
objects on the road.
l Do not use the adaptive cruise
control in extreme weather (e.g. fog/
rain/snow/hail, etc.), wet roads,
steep slopes or sharp roads.
