HINTS ON DRIVING WITH
ANTI-LOCK BRAKES
The anti-lock braking system does not
eliminate the risks when:
• You drive too closely to the vehicle in
front of you.
• Your vehicle is hydroplaning.
• You take corners too fast.
• The road surface is poor.
If the ABS system fails or the
ABS control unit is not
connected, the ABS warning
indicator will light up and you should go
to the Ford authorized dealer for repair.
At this point, normal braking (without
ABS) will still work.

the brake system warning indicator
is light up during driving, please check the
brake system immediately with the Ford
