ULTRASONIC PARKING
AID (UPA) SYSTEM
The system consists of front and rear
parking sensors to assist on the entry/
exit for parking, garages, etc.
The highlighted sector area indicates
that an object has been detected in
that area.
As the vehicle gets closer to the object,
the highlighted sector area turns from
green and yellow to red.
On the side where the object is
detected, the sector area changes
its color separately. You will hear the
alarm sound, and the closer the vehicle
gets to the object, the higher the alarm
sound frequency will be.
Front parking aid system
The front sensor will be activated
automatically after the engine is
started and when the speed is below
15 km/h approximately. The
monitoring distance ahead of the
vehicle is approximately 1.2 m, and the
sound is played through the front
speaker. The system is deactivated in
the following situations:
l The vehicle is in P.
l The vehicle starts to move only a
few seconds before restart.
l Or when the OFF button on the
front sensor is pressed.
Rear parking aid system
The rear parking aid sensors turn on
automatically when you are in reverse
(R). The chime will sound when the
vehicle is 1.5 m away from the rear
object. The sound is reproduced
through the rear speaker.
WARNING
The parking aid system should
only be used as a reference and
cannot guarantee its safety. It is
designed to provide vehicle parking
assistance. The system does not replace
drivers attention and judgment when
parking.
