How to locate a desired track on the tape

NOTE: The tape track or side number
indicated in the display does not
necessarily correspond to the tape track
or side number on the cassette label. It
is used only to indicate when the tape
mechanism reverses tracks.

NOTE: Depending on your vehicle, the display
of your radio may show arrows (
g
or
h
) or numerals (“1” or “2”) to
indicate the direction of tape travel. In
either case, at the end of the tape, the
direction automatically reverses and
plays the other side of the tape.

Using the Automatic Music Search (“AMS”)(If
your display shows numerals)

Press and hold the “AMS” button (“AMS” will
appear in the display). Then, push the left

button to rewind to the beginning of the current
selection or press the right

button to fast
forward to the beginning of the next selection.
