Steering wheel heating switches on au-
tomatically
The most recent temperature setting is
switched on automatically if you switch on
the engine again within approximately
10 minutes.
Switching on steering wheel heating
automatically at the start of the jour-
ney
1. Open the Climate Control menu in the
Infotainment system.
2. Tap
to open the Clima
te Control
settings submenu.
3. Activate the Steering wheel heating
checkbox.
Aer starting the engine, the steering
wheel heating is automatically switch-
ed on depending on the outside tem-
perature and temperature of the steer-
ing wheel.
Switching on the steering wheel heat-
ing automatically with the Comfort
function
Direct warm air onto the steering
wheel.
When you switch on the Comfort function
in the Climate Control menu, the steering
wheel heating will be switched on auto-
matically with the highest temperature set-
ting. The steering wheel heating will remain
switched on aer the time elapses.
If the steering wheel heating is already
switched on before you switch on the Com-
fort function , the already adjusted tem-
pera
ture setting of the steering wheel heat-
ing will remain selected.
Steering wheel heating switches o au-
tomatically
The steering wheel heating switches itself
o automatically if one of the following
conditions is met:
— The power consumption is too high.
— There is a fault in the steering wheel
hea
ting system.
Windscreen heating
T
he windscreen heating functions when
the engine is running.
Switch the windscreen heating on
and o on the touch panel in the up-
per centre console.
The windscreen heating switches itself o
depending on the outside temperature or
aer around 8 minutes at the latest.
Automatic windscreen heating
The windscreen heating is switched on au-
tomatically if there is a risk of condensation
forming on a window.
1. Open the Climate Control menu in the
Infotainment system.
2. Tap
to open the Clima
te Control
settings submenu.
3. Activate the Automatic windscreen
heating checkbox.
Automatic windscreen heating is also
active when the Climate Control sys-
tem is switched o.
Windscreen heating using the defrost
function
The windscreen heating will be switched on
automatically when the defrost function is
switched on and a sensor detects that con-
densation may form on the windscreen.

matically
The windscreen heating switches itself o
automatically if one of the following condi-
tions is met:
— The power consumption is too high.
— There is a fault in the Climate Control
system.
— The specified time has elapsed.
