If you adjust the announced speed exces-
sively, predictive control will be terminated.
If a speed limit is detected, the predic-
tive speed limiter will adjust the stor-
ed speed even if the Speed Limiter is not
regulating.
If the current speed significantly ex-
ceeds a speed limit detected by the
Trac Sign Recognition function, a warning
will appear on the instrument cluster dis-
play.

A message is displayed that the speed
limiter with predictive control is cur-
rently not available or is not available in
your country

Eco Coach
The Eco Coach function helps the driv-
er to drive with an anticipa
tory driving
style and to save energy by providing
situation-dependent information.
The Eco Coach function uses the navigation
data of the Infotainment system and the
sensors of the driver assistance systems.
When you drive with route guidance, Eco
Coach also takes into account the entered
route. The most probable route is used
when you drive without route guidance.
The Eco Coach function is dependent on
the equipment level and is not available in
all countries.
Driving with Eco Coach
When you are approaching a speed limit or
a route section where additional attention
has to be paid, the
symbol and informa-
tion about the type of event are shown in
the displa
y of the instrument cluster.
You use the coasting function and therefore
save energy as soon as you take your foot
o the accelerator.
If the accelerator is not pressed, Eco Coach
also supports deceleration for a vehicle
driving in front without any displayed mes-
sage. The system does not use the vehicle
brake. When you are driving downhill, the
system also cannot suciently brake the
vehicle in all driving situations.
You can override Eco Coach interventions
at any time by accelerating or braking.
Displays
Depending on the driving situation, the fol-
lowing symbols are shown on the instru-
ment cluster display:
Remove foot from accelerator.
Vehicle ahead.
Junction ahead.
