You can use the Ford Assistant to oper-

te certain functions and retrieve infor-
mation by means of voice commands.

a journey in order to familiarise your-

Voice commands
The Ford Assistant recognises only voice
commands in the language set in the Info-
tainment system.
Starting the Ford Assistant
You can start the Ford Assistant using dif-
ferent methods:

he Ford Assistant is ended automati-
cally if you use functions in the Info-
tainment system, activate the parking sys-
tem, receive telephone calls or if voice out-
puts are made.

Activation word
T
he spoken words are analysed continu-
ously in the vehicle and overwritten aer
around 15 seconds. The Ford Assistant is
started as soon as the Infotainment system
recognises the activation word as part of
this analysis. If the Ford Assistant is availa-
ble online and activated, (voice) data is al-
so transferred from the vehicle as from this
time. Otherwise there is no transmission of
data or words spoken in the vehicle.
Recognition of the activation word can be
deactivated in the settings.
Activating and deactivating the activa-
tion word
If the activation word is deactivated, the
Ford Assistant cannot be started by means
of the activation word.
