WARNING
A wing door which is being held open by
the door arrester ma
y close in strong
winds or if the vehicle is on a slope. This
could lead to serious injuries.

Always hold the door handle firmly
when opening and closing wing doors.
NOTICE
The opening and closing path of the wing
doors is dangerous and can cause injuries.

Open or close the wing doors only when
there is no-one in the movement path.
Opening and closing the rear
door

Opening rear doors
1. Always open the le-hand rear door
first until it clicks into place.
2. Pull the lever on the front of the right
rear door.
3. Open the rear door until it clicks into
place.
Disengaging the door arresters
1. Open the rear doors as far as they will
go.
2. Press the yellow operating button to
unhook the door arrester.
The yellow operating button is located
on the door arrester.
Closing the rear doors
1. Always swing in the right rear door first
until it engages in position.
2. Then swing in the le rear door until it
engages in position.
3. The door arrester hooks back into place
automatically when the rear doors are
closed.
WARNING
A rear door that is not properly closed
c
ould open suddenly while the vehicle is
in motion. This could lead to severe or fa-
tal injuries.

Stop immediately and close the rear
door.
·
Aer closing the rear door, always
check that it is properly engaged in the
lock carrier. The closed rear door must
be flush with the surrounding body pan-
els.
NOTICE
Before opening the rear doors, check that
there is enough space to open and close
the rear doors, e.g. when in a garage.

Manually opening rear doors from the
inside
1. Depending on the vehicle equipment,
remove the plug from the interior trim
of the le-hand rear door.
2. Feel for the release lever in the opening
and press it to the le.
The rear door opens.
In some vehicles, there is a rubber
stopper. Carefully lever it out with the
screwdriver from the vehicle toolkit.
