Global opening and closing
The windows can be opened and closed
from outside the vehicle using the vehicle
key when the ignition is switched o:
1. In vehicles with Keyless Entry: hold your
finger on the locking sensor in the door
handle for several seconds until the
windows are closed. The vehicle key
must also be within the operating
range.
2. To interrupt this function: let go of the
locking or unlocking button on the vehi-
cle key.
Or: remove your finger from the sensor.
A valid vehicle key must be located within
the operating range. All direction indicators
will flash once as confirmation that all the
windows have been closed.
Set the global opening system settings in
the Vehicle settings menu in the Infotain-
ment system.
WARNING
Careless or unsupervised use of the elec-
tric windows c
an cause serious injuries.

Always take all vehicle keys with you
every time you leave the vehicle.
·
Please note that the windows can still
be opened or closed using the buttons
in the doors for a short time aer the ig-
nition has been switched o, provided
that the driver door or front passenger
door is not opened.

When transporting children on the rear
bench seat, the rear electric windows
should always be deactivated so that
they c
annot be opened or closed.
WARNING
When the vehicle is locked, the windows
c
an no longer be opened and this makes
it impossible to exit the vehicle interior. In
an emergency situation, this can result in
serious or fatal injuries.

Never leave children or people requiring
assistance alone in the vehicle when
the vehicle is locked.
WARNING
Improper use of the electric windows can
cause crush injuries to the body.

Never allow children to play with the
electric windows.

in view when using the global opening
and closing function.
NOTICE
If it starts to rain or snow when the win-
dows are open, this c

functions of the controls or damage them.

Close all windows if it starts to rain or
snow.
NOTICE
The electric windows are equipped with
a roll-b
ack function. It can occur that auto-
matic closing is interrupted and the win-
dow opens again even if there is no appa-
rent obstacle.
·
Keep pulling the window regulator switch
until the window has closed completely.
One-touch opening and closing and
the roll-b
ack function will not work if
there is a fault in the electric windows. Go
to a qualified workshop.
Global opening of the windows using
the vehicle key in the door lock is pos-
sible only if the vehicle was unlocked previ-
ously with the vehicle key.
