VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION
NUMBER (VIN)
The vehicle identification number is
stamped into the floor panel in front of the
right-hand seat. It is also shown on the
left-hand side of the instrument panel.
LOAD APPORTIONING
VALVE (LAV) PLATE
Certain vehicles are fitted with a load
apportioning valve (LAV) plate on the
left-hand rear door pillar, quoting the
settings for this valve. These settings
should only be made by an expert.
