Make sure that the brake uid level is
between the MIN and the MAX marks.
Only add brake uid that meets the
Ford specication. See Customer
assistance, warranty and service
guide (page 27).

CHECK
WARNING
Do not allow the uid to touch
your skin or eyes. If this happens,
rinse the affected areas immediately with
plenty of water and contact your doctor.
Start the engine and let it run 1.
until it reaches normal operating
temperature (the engine coolant
temperature gauge indicator will be
near the centre of the normal area
between H and C).
While the engine idles, turn the 2.
steering wheel left and right several
times.
Turn the engine off.3.
Check the uid level in the reservoir. 4.
It should be between the lines. Do
not add uid if the level is in this
range.
If the uid is low, add uid in small 5.
amounts, continuously checking
the level until it reaches the range
between the lines. Be sure to put
the cap back on the reservoir.
Topping up
Remove the ller cap.
CAUTION
Do not top up further than the
MAX mark.
Top up with uid that meets the
Ford specication. See Customer
assistance, warranty and service
guide (page 27).
