Topping up
Top up with uid that meets the
Ford specication. See Customer
assistance, warranty and service
guide (page 27).
If necessary, add uid in 250 mL
increments through the dipstick tube
until the level is correct.
If an overll occurs, excess uid should
be removed by a qualied technician.
Note: An overll condition of
transmission uid may cause shift and/or
engagement concerns and/or possible
damage.
WASHER FLUID CHECK
Checking and adding washer
uid
Check the washer uid whenever you
stop for fuel.
If the level is low, add enough uid to
ll the reservoir. Use Motorcraft R1-47
Screen Wash Solution or equivalent with
clean water. In very cold weather, do not
ll the reservoir all the way.

uid for the liftgate
Washer uid for the liftgate is supplied by
the same reservoir as the windshield.
