CHANGING A ROAD WHEEL
Spare wheel and vehicle jack
CAUTION
Use only approved wheel and tyre
sizes. Using other sizes could
damage the vehicle and will make the
National Type Approval invalid.
Use only the specied jacking
points. Positioning at other
points may damage the body, steering,
suspension, engine, braking system, or
fuel lines.
The spare tyre is the same type and size
as the tyres provided on the four wheels
as original equipment. Use it as a spare
or in normal tyre rotation.
Lift the oor cover, after unscrewing
the retaining nut, and remove the jack
handle and lug nut wrench which are
located underneath the oor cover.

GENERAL INFORMATION
CAUTION
If you change the diameter of the
tyres from that tted at the factory,
the speedometer may not display the
correct speed. Take your vehicle to
your Ford dealer to have the engine
management system reprogrammed.
A decal with the tyre pressure data is
located in the driver’s door opening at
the B-pillar.
Check and set the tyre pressures at the
ambient temperature in which you are
intending to drive the vehicle and when
the tyres are cold.
