Audio sound adjustment
Press the 1. MENU button to select
the function. The selected function
will be indicated.
Turn the volume/power dial to adjust 2.
the selected functions as follows:

Note: About 5 seconds after selecting
any audio adjustment mode, the
display returns to the normal display
automatically.
Volume attenuation
The volume attenuation function reduces
the audio volume in a similar manner to
the standard volume control.
Pressing the ATT button reduces the
audio volume by 20 decibels (“ATT” is
displayed).
Press the ATT button again to cancel
the function.
Loudness adjustment
The loudness adjustment function uses
volume control with special circuitry
added to compensate for the normally
decreased hearing ability of the human
ear at the extreme ends of the audio
range when listening to lower sound
levels. The loudness control boosts the
bass frequencies and, to a lesser extent,
the high frequencies.
Press the ATT button for 2 seconds or
more to increase the bass and treble.
Press the ATT button again for 2
seconds or more to switch off the
loudness adjustment function.
Changing the source
Press the MODE button to change the
audio source (Radio>CD Player>cyclical).
