Note: The vehicle should not be
operated with the 4x4 LOCK mode
activated on dry or merely wet
pavement. Doing so will produce
excessive noise, increase tyre wear and
may damage driveline components.
The 4x4 LOCK mode is intended for use
only on consistently slippery or loose
surfaces.
WARNING
Four-wheel drive vehicles are not
designed for cornering at speeds
as high as passenger cars. Avoid sharp
turns or abrupt manoeuvres in these
vehicles.
4x4 system indicator lamp
The 4x4 mode indicator light
illuminates continuously only
when the 4x4 LOCK mode is
engaged. If the indicator light
illuminates when driving in the 4x4
LOCK deactivated mode, contact your
Authorised Ford Dealer as soon as
possible.
