a) Accompanythe workwith the complete corresponding machine-readable source code for the Libraryincluding whateverchangeswere
used in the work(which must be distributed underSections1 and 2 above); and, if the workisan executable linked with the Library, with the
complete machine-readable "workthat usesthe Library", asobjectcode and/orsource code, so that the usercan modifythe Libraryand then
relinkto produce a modified executable containing the modified Library. (Itisunderstood thatthe userwho changesthe contentsof definitions
filesin the Librarywillnot necessarilybe able to recompile the application to use the modified definitions.)
b) Use a suitable shared librarymechanism forlinking with the Library. Asuitable mechanism isone that (1) usesatrun time a copyof the library
alreadypresent on the user'scomputersystem, rather than copying libraryfunctionsinto the executable, and (2) willoperate properlywith a
modified version of the library, if the userinstallsone, aslong asthe modified version isinterface-compatible with the version thatthe workwas
made with.
c) Accompanythe workwith a written offer, valid for atleast three years, to give the same userthe materialsspecified in Subsection 6a, above, for
a charge no more than the cost of performing thisdistribution.
d) If distribution of the workismade byoffering accessto copyfrom a designated place, offerequivalentaccessto copythe above specified
materialsfrom the same place.
e) Verifythatthe userhasalreadyreceived a copyof these materialsorthat you have alreadysent thisusera copy.
Foran executable, the required form of the "workthat usesthe Library" mustinclude anydata and utilityprogramsneeded forreproducing the
executable from it. However, asa specialexception, the materialsto be distributed need not include anything thatisnormallydistributed (in either
source orbinaryform) with the majorcomponents(compiler, kernel, and so on) of the operating system on which the executable runs, unless
that componentitself accompaniesthe executable. Itmayhappen thatthisrequirement contradictsthe license restrictionsof otherproprietary
librariesthatdo not normallyaccompanythe operating system. Such a contradiction meansyou cannot use both them and the Librarytogether
in an executable thatyou distribute.
7. You mayplace libraryfacilitiesthat are a workbased on the Libraryside-by-side in a single librarytogetherwith otherlibraryfacilitiesnotcovered
bythisLicense, and distribute such a combined library, provided that the separate distribution of the workbased on the Libraryand of the other
libraryfacilitiesisotherwise permitted, and provided thatyou do these two things:
a) Accompanythe combined librarywith a copyof the same workbased on the Library, uncombined with anyotherlibraryfacilities. Thismustbe
distributed underthe termsof the Sectionsabove.
b) Give prominentnotice with the combined libraryof the factthat partof it isa workbased on the Library, and explaining where to find the
accompanying uncombined form of the same work.
8. You maynotcopy, modify, sublicense, linkwith, ordistribute the Libraryexcept asexpresslyprovided underthisLicense. Anyattempt otherwise
to copy, modify, sublicense, linkwith, or distribute the Libraryisvoid, and willautomaticallyterminate yourrightsunderthisLicense. However,
partieswho have received copies, orrights, from you underthisLicense willnothave theirlicensesterminated so long assuch partiesremain in full
compliance.
9. You are notrequired to acceptthisLicense, since you have not signed it. However, nothing else grantsyou permission to modifyordistribute
the Libraryoritsderivative works. These actionsare prohibited bylaw if you do not accept thisLicense. Therefore, bymodifying or distributing the
Library(oranyworkbased on the Library), you indicate your acceptance of thisLicense to do so, and allitstermsand conditionsforcopying,
distributing ormodifying the Libraryorworksbased on it.
10. Each time you redistribute the Library(oranyworkbased on the Library), the recipientautomaticallyreceivesa license from the original
licensorto copy, distribute, linkwith ormodifythe Librarysubjectto these termsand conditions. You maynotimpose anyfurtherrestrictionson the
recipients' exercise of the rightsgranted herein. You are not responsible forenforcing compliance bythirdpartieswith thisLicense.
11. If, asa consequence of a courtjudgmentor allegation of patentinfringementorforanyother reason (not limited to patentissues), conditions
are imposed on you (whetherbycourtorder, agreement orotherwise) thatcontradict the conditionsof thisLicense, theydo not excuse you from
the conditionsof thisLicense. If you cannotdistribute so asto satisfysimultaneouslyyourobligationsunderthisLicense and anyother pertinent
obligations, then asa consequence you maynotdistribute the Libraryatall. Forexample, if a patentlicense would not permit royalty-free
redistribution of the Librarybyallthose who receive copiesdirectlyorindirectlythrough you, then the onlywayyou could satisfyboth it and this
License would be to refrain entirelyfrom distribution of the Library.
If anyportion of thissection isheld invalid orunenforceable underanyparticularcircumstance, the balance of the section isintended to apply,
and the section asa whole isintended to applyin othercircumstances.
Itisnot the purpose of thissection to induce you to infringe anypatentsorotherpropertyrightclaimsorto contestvalidityof anysuch claims; this
section hasthe sole purpose of protecting the integrityof the free software distribution system which isimplemented bypublic license practices.
Manypeople have made generouscontributionsto the wide range of software distributed through thatsystem in reliance on consistent
application of thatsystem; it isup to the author/donorto decide if he orshe iswilling to distribute software through anyothersystem and a licensee
cannot impose that choice. Thissection isintended to make thoroughlyclearwhat isbelieved to be a consequence of the restof thisLicense.
