Usage Features:
Before first use, it is crucial to unpack the appliance and ensure all accessories, including the ice basket and ice scoop, are present. The ice maker should be placed on a level and stable surface with sufficient ventilation, away from heat sources. A 6-inch (15cm) clearance on all sides is recommended for proper ventilation. The incline angle of the ice maker cabinet should not exceed 113°F/45°C during transportation or use, and it should not be turned upside down. If the unit has been moved, it should rest for 2 hours to allow fluids in the compressor to settle before operation. Only potable water at room temperature or lower should be used to fill the water reservoir; hot water may damage the appliance. The ice maker should not be operated in environments colder than 50°F/10°C.
To start using the ice maker:
- Ensure the drain plug at the bottom of the water reservoir is securely closed.
- Plug the ice maker into a grounded wall outlet. If the unit has been moved, allow it to rest for 30 minutes before plugging it in.
- Press the "ON/OFF CLEAN" button to start the appliance.
- Open the top lid and remove the ice basket.
- Fill the water reservoir with potable water, ensuring not to exceed the MAX water level mark.
- Replace the ice basket and close the top lid.
- Press the "SELECT" button to choose the desired ice size: "SMALL" for small ice or "LARGE" for large ice.
- The ice-making cycle typically takes 6-8 minutes, depending on ambient and water temperatures. Water is pumped into the ice tray, forms ice on the evaporator, and then the ice tray tilts to drain remaining water. Ice cubes are dropped into the ice basket by an ice shovel.
- When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator will light up, and the ice maker will automatically stop the ice-making cycle. Ice can then be removed with the ice scoop. The ice maker will restart automatically after about 5 seconds.
- If the water tank runs out of water, the "ADD WATER" indicator will light up, and the ice-making cycle will stop. The ice maker will restart automatically after about 5 seconds once water is refilled.
- To stop the ice-making cycle, press the "ON/OFF CLEAN" button and unplug the unit.
- Transfer the ice to a freezer for storage.
- If the ice maker is not used for a long time, empty the water reservoir. It is suggested to replace the water every month.
Maintenance Features:
Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain fresh-tasting ice and the appliance's appearance, ideally once per week.
- Clean the inside and outside of the ice maker with a diluted solution of water and vinegar. Avoid spraying chemicals, acids, gasoline, or oil. Rinse thoroughly.
- If residual water is in the ice tray, gently push the tray back to drain water into the reservoir.
- The ice maker has a self-cleaning function. To activate it, hold the "CLEAN" button for 3 seconds. The "CLEAN" indicator will light up in green during this process.
- If the "ADD WATER" indicator lights up after the machine has been idle for a while (due to insufficient water for the pump), repress the "ON/OFF" button to restart the ice maker.
- Remove the ice basket for cleaning.
- Clean the interior of the ice maker with a soft cloth soaked in warm water and vinegar, then rinse with clean water and drain all water.
- Ensure the drain plug is well in position. Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry.
- If the compressor stops due to water shortage, a full ice basket, or a power interruption, it will delay for 3 minutes before restarting.

Troubleshooting:
The manual includes a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as abnormal compressor noise, water shortage indicator, display lights not on, oversized ice, no ice production, all indicators twinkling, warming water, and the "ICE FULL" icon not displaying. Suggested solutions range from adding water and restarting to checking voltage, unplugging, and contacting customer service. For instance, if small ice chips jam the automatic shovel, disconnect power, gently push the shovel to the rear, remove chips, and restart. If the water tray is blocked by an ice cube, unplug, remove the ice, and restart.
