10. International Symbols
These symbols appear on the labels clothing, to help
in the selection of the the best way to treat them.
Weight of Clothes
The maximum capacity of this machine refers to
a standard load of 17kg or 20kg, composed of
sheets, pillowcases and cotton towels, whose
composition, size and weight are specified under
international standards.
The table of clothes weight is for guidance clothes.
For a better performance of this product the volume
of the clothes should be considered prevailing on
the weight of the clothes. For example, articles filled
with foam and synthetic fabrics and duvets may be
below of the limit of capacity. However, the volume
is higher than the capacity of the drum and does
not allow the accommodation of 17kg or 20kg of
such clothes.
On the other hand, heavy fabrics (example: trousers
jeans, bath towels) that are compressed in the
drum of the washing machine may impair washing
performance.
