Operating Modes
The FRITZ!WLANRepeater 450E can work in two diff erent operating modes:
Wireless Bridge (Preset)
The WLAN bridge connects the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E with your Internet router via wireless
LAN. Computers and other network devices are connected to the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E via
WiFi or with a LAN cable. Read the description starting on page 8.
LAN Bridge
The LAN bridge connects the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E with your Internet router using a LAN
cable. Computers and other network devices are connected with the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater
450E via WiFi. The LAN bridge operating made can be confi gured in the user interface of the

The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E is a wireless repeater that extends the range of your wireless
network. Computers, tablets, Smart-TV and other wireless devices can use the FRITZ!WLANRe-
peater 450E as the access point to your Internet router and the home network. In the FRITZ!Box
home network, the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E automatically adopts the FRITZ!Box’s settings.
With a FRITZ!Box that has FRITZ!OS 6.90 or higher installed, you can also benefi t from expanded
Mesh WiFi functionality. More detailed
