18. User Settings
Pressing [User Settings] in the menu icons brings up the User Settings screen. This screen is used to
register and view users who can use password-protected functions. User accounts can be added,
deleted, and edited on this screen.
The following functions require user settings.
• Security function
• VNC server
•FTP server
Item Description
User List
Displays the users with user settings configured (with a user name and password
registered).
User names registered with V-SFT version 6 are displayed.
View all /
Show only security /
Only the VNC server
display /
Show only FTP server
Select a criterion to display specific users in the user list.
• View all: All user names are listed.
• Show only security: Only users who are granted security privileges (with
a security level set) are listed.
• Only the VNC server display: Only users who are allowed to access the VNC
server are listed.
• Show only the FTP server: Only users who are allowed to access the FTP
server are listed.
Add Adds a new user account. For details, refer to page 2-76.
Administrator
Authentication
Displays the administrator authentication screen. Authentication of administrator
privileges is required before adding a new user account or deleting/editing a registered
user account, if any. For details, refer to page 2-75.
