Turning the Camera on and Off
Rotate the ON/OFFswitch to ONto turn the camera
on,
Select OFFto turn the camera offi

Pressthe [] button to start playback. Press [] button
again or press the shutter button halfway to return to
shooting mode.

The camera will turn off automatically if no operations
are performed for tile length of time selected in the
AUTOPOWEROFFmenu (_ 102).Toreactivatethe
camera after it hasturned off automatically, turn tile
ON/OFFswitch to OFFand then backto ON.
Battery level is shown asfollows:
Indicator Description
(white) Battery partially discharged.
(white) Battery more than half discharged.
Low battery. Charge as soon as pos-
(red) sible.
(blinksred)Battery exhausted. Turn camera off
and charge battery.
