Basic Setup
A language-selection dialog is displayed the first time the camera is turned on. Set up the camera as
described below (for information on resetting the clock or changing languages, see page 99).
a_ILANG. Highlight a language and press MENU/OK. _A_
PressDISP/BACI(toskip tile current step. Any stepsyou skip will be displayed
the next time the camera isturned on.
2 The date and time will be displayed. Pressthe selector left or right to _A_
highlight the year, month, day, hour, or minute and press up or down 4_,Qy_
to change. To change the order in which the year, month, and day
are displayed, highlight the date format and press the selector up or
down. Press MENU/OKwhen settings are complete.

Ifthe battery is removed for an extended period, tile camera clock will be reset and the language-selection dialog
will be displayed when the camera is turned on.
