In this mode, the camera sets exposure
automatically. Ifdesired, you can choose
different combinations of shutter speed
and aperture that will produce the same
exposure (program shift).
Ifthe subject isoutside tile metering range of the cam-
era,tile shutter speed and aperture displays will show
"---". Presstile shutter button halfway to measure ex-
posure again.

Rotate the cornrnand dial to choose the desired com-
bination of shutter speed and aperture. The default
values car] be restored by raising the flash or turning
the camera off] Program shift isonly available if the
flash isoff and an option other than AUTO isselected
for _ DYNAMIC RANGE and [] ISO.
