By linking virtualization software, the entire status of a system that has an ETERNUS AF can be understood by
using the management tool for the server virtualization environment. This central administrative control of
the virtual environment enables operations to be improved and optimized.
11.3.1 Oracle VM Linkage

Solution Overview
The Oracle VM Storage Connect framework supports creation, deletion, and expansion of Logical Unit Num-
ber (LUN) and snapshot native storage service, so that Oracle VM Manager can directly use the resources and
functions of the storage system existing in the Oracle VM environment.
