System Configuration
vSphere accesses VVOLs through Protocol Endpoints (PE). The server recognizes PEs as logical volumes. VVOLs
are created in a pool called a storage container. Storage containers and VVOLs correspond to FTRPs and FTVs of
the ETERNUS AF

Storage containers are pools for creating VVOLs. The ETERNUS AF uses FTRPs as storage containers. Multiple stor-
age containers can be created in the ETERNUS AF
