Caution
During the configuration phase
Allocate each authentication server and the NAS interfaces on both CMs of the ETERNUS DX to the same
segment.
For operations that use the Active Directory authentication server or the LDAP authentication server, a
configuration error of the NAS functions that are described in "Available Functions for Each Software" (page
327), a NAS Engine down, or a snapshot failure may occur if communication with the authentication server is
unavailable due to a network error.
