● Service Controllers (SVC)
An SVC coordinates with the controller and is a unit that controls the monitoring function for the entire
ETERNUS DX.
Two units are installed in a frontend enclosure.

1 CM port
This port is used to connect SVCs and CMs.
2 PWC port
This port is used to connect a power synchronized unit to perform power synchronization.
● Power Supply Units
The power supply unit converts input AC power from a power socket to DC power and supplies power to each
component.
Four units are installed in a frontend enclosure.

This inlet is used to connect a power cord.
● Frontend Routers (FRT)
