7.1 Check List

- Check that the "●" (IN) and "■" (OUT) side of the QSFP cable is connected correctly. If the QSFP cable is
connected incorrectly, use the following procedure to reconnect the QSFP cable.
1 Press the controller enclosure’s Power switch for four seconds or more to turn off the ETERNUS DX
Disk storage system, and turn off the AC power.
2 Reconnect the QSFP cable.
3 Make sure that power is being supplied, then turn the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system on.
• When the general status of ETERNUS Web GUI is
Check whether the QSFP cables are connected in the correct order or check that the "●" (IN) and "■" (OUT)
side of the QSFP cable is connected correctly. If not, use the following procedure to reconnect the QSFP
cables.
1 Press the controller enclosure’s Power switch for four seconds or more to turn off the ETERNUS DX
Disk storage system, and turn off the AC power.
2 Reconnect the QSFP cable.
3 Make sure that power is being supplied, then turn the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system on.
■ When the FAULT LED blinks
Check the general status and the system messages in ETERNUS Web GUI. A general status of
indicates that the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system contains a component that requires preventive
maintenance.
In the details screen for each component, check the detailed information for each component with a and
contact your maintenance engineer.
When checking the general status via ETERNUS CLI, refer to "ETERNUS CLI User’s Guide".
