Indicator Description
Radio components indicator
• The indicator is illuminated: The radio components are switched on.
• Indicator is off: The radio components are s witched off.
Power-on indicator / S t andby

• The indicator flashes: T he notebook is in standby mode.
• The indicator is off: The notebook is sw itched off.
Battery charging ind icato r
• The indicator lights up blue: The mains adapte r is connected and the b attery
is fully c harg ed.
• The indicator lights up orange: The mains adapter is connected and the battery
is being cha rged.
Drive indicator

The indicator is illuminated: One of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being
accessed.
Num Lock indicator

key has been pressed. T he virtual
numerical keypad is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the
upper right of the keys.
Caps Lock indica

characters you
type will app ear in upper case. In the case of overlay keys, the
character prin
ted on the upper left of the key will appear when that key is pressed.
Switching on the notebook
► Open the LCD screen.
Switchingon
► Press the ON/OFF switch for about one
second to switch the notebook on.
The power-on indicator is lit.
