The WebCam has its own status indicator. The indicator ligh ts up when the WebCam is switched on.
Depending on the software used, you can use your Webcam to take pictures,
record video clips or take part in w eb chats.
• The picture quality depends on the lighting conditions and the software being used.
• You can only operate the webcam with a particular application (e.g. an Internet telephony
program or a video conferencing program which supports a w ebcam).
• When using the webcam the notebook sup port m ust not wobble.
• The webcam a utomatica lly a djusts itself to the current light le vel. For this reason
the LCD screen ma y flicker while the light level is adjusted.

When not plugged into a ma ins socket, the notebook runs on its built-in battery. You
can increase the life of the battery by caring for the battery properly. The average
battery life is around 500 charge/discha rge cycles.
You can extend the battery life by taking advantage of the available energy saving functions.
