Connecting an external monitor to the DisplayPort
It is possible to connect a digital monitor to the DisplayPort. Screen output is limited to a maximum
of two screens at any one time (see "
Key combinations", Page 23, section "Toggle output screen").
Digital DisplayPort
► Switch off the notebook and the e xternal monitor.
► Plug the data cable of the external monitor into the mo nitor port.
► First switch on t he external monitor and then the notebook.
You can also switch between the external monitor and the LCD monitor of the
notebook, see chapter "
Key combinat ions", Pa ge 23.
You can display the same picture on the external monitor and the
notebook LCD mo nitor simultaneously.
