Setting up WLAN access
• Requirement: A W LAN must be available and you must have the
corresponding access information.
Information on configuring the WLAN access can be found in the
documentation for your operating syste m.
Access via UMTS
You can purchase the accesso

You will find information on
establishing the connection with the U MTS
network in the documentat
ion for the hardware used.
Your device can c onnect with the Internet via UMTS. To do this, use one of
the following types of connection:
• USB dongle
a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phon e) with Bluetooth connection
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone) with data cable
Ethernet and LAN
EthernetLAN
The internal network module of y our notebook supports Ethernet LAN. You can use it to
establish a connection to a local network (LAN = Local Area Network).

port of the no tebook (1).
► Con nect the network cable to your
network connection (2).
Your network administrator can help you to configure a nd use the LAN connections.
The network ca ble is not included in the delivery scope. This type o f
cable can be obtained from a specialist dealer.
