OPERATING STATUS
INDICATOR LED
When the power is turned off, the status
display LEDs are all OFF except for
during battery charging.
1. Hard Disk/ Optical Disk Drive
Access Indicator (
)
This indicator turns on when the built-in
hard disk drive or optical disk drive is being
accessed.
Data in the hard disk may be damaged
if the POWER button is operated while
the Hard Disk/ Optical Disk Drive Access
Indicator is lit.
2. Built-in Battery Pack Charging
Indicator (
)
This lamp indicates charging status of built-
in battery when AC adaptor is connected to
PC.
• Green lamp is lit
Charging completed or not charging due
to no built-in battery pack installed.
• Orange lamp is lit
Charging
• Orange lamp flashes
Charging stopped (due to battery
temperature alarm, etc. [Note 1])
• OFF
No charging due to disconnected AC
adaptor.
