Access via UMTS
You can purchase the acce ssories for UMTS recep tion from your retailer
or your Fujitsu Technology Solutions dealer.
You w ill find information on establishing the connection with the UMTS
network in the documentation for the hardware used.
Your device can connect with the Internet via UMTS. To do th is, use one of
the following t ypes of connection:
• USB dongle
a USB stick with your mob ile pho
ne provider’s SIM card
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone) with Bluetooth con nection
• a mobile end-device (e .g. mobil
e phone) with data cable
If you ha ve ordered a UMTS modu
le, you device will be prepared
already when you receive it.

The internal network module of y
our notebook supports Ethernet LAN . You can use it to
establish a connection to a l o
cal ne twork (LAN = Local Area Network).

You r network administrator can help you to configure and use the LAN connections.
The network cable is not included in the delivery scope. This type of
cable c an be obtained from a specialist dealer.
