SlotExpressCard
An ExpressCard slot enab les operation of an ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54.
Consult the documentation supplied by the ExpressCard’s m anufacturer
and follow the instructions provided.
Never use force when installing or removing an E xpressCard.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the ExpressCard slot.
Inserting the c ard
Keep the placeholder for the slot in a safe place. W hen you remove the card again you
must reinstall the placeholder. This prevents foreign bodies from getting into the slot.

► If the eject button (1) is recessed, press it
once so that it disengages. Now press the
eject button again so that the placeholder
protrudes slightly from the notebook.

► Gently push the card into the slot either
until it will go no further or you feel it
engage. Do n ot use excessive force.
Depending
on the type, the card may
