Switching the wireless com
ponents on and off
Before switching on your device for the first time, the on/off switch for
wireless components must be in the "O N" position.
► Slide the ON/OFF switch in
to the "ON "
position to activate the w
ireless components.

► Slide the ON/OFF switch to the
"OFF" position to deactivate the
wireless compo nents.
The Bluetooth and UMTS modules and the wireless LAN transmission unit (antenna)
will also be switched off when you s witch off the wireless co mponents.
You can also deactivate the wireless componen ts individually in the BIOS Setup.In
order to be able to do this, you will e ither need to know the supervisor password
if one has been assigned, or no p assword must have been assigned.

Details on using Wireless LAN can be found in the online help system
included in the W ireless LAN software.
You can find more information on how to use Blu etooth on the CD you
received with your Bluetooth software.
