Connecting external devices to the parallel
or serial port

The notebook itself does not have a serial or parallel port. The optional Port
Replicator available for your notebook provides these ports.
External devices can be connected to the parallel or serial port (e.g. a printer or a modem).
► Connect the data cable to the external device.
► Depend ing on the d evice, connect the data cable to the parallel port or the serial po rt.
