The microphone port/Line In allows you to connect an exte rnal microphone, a M iniDisc
player, MP3 player, CD player or a tap e deck to your notebook.
► Connect the audio cable to the
external device.

o the microphone
port/Line In of the note
book.
Headphones port/Line Out

Headphones or external loudspeakers can be con nect ed to your notebook via the head phones port.
► Connect the data cable to t he
external device.
► Connect the signal cable to the
headphones/Line Out port on the notebook.
When you connect headphones or external loudspeakers, the built-in
loudspeakers are disabled.
If you purchase a cable from a retailer, please note the following:
If you want to connect headphon es or a speaker you will need a "3.5 mm jack plug".
