Working with the noteb ook
In sleep mode (S4) and when switched off (S5), the battery button provides information
on the state of charge of the two batteries. P ress the button and the battery indicator lights up.
The meaning of the colours corresponds to the fo llowing table with statuses S 2 to S3:
First battery indicato r
White:
The mains adapter is connec
ted and the rst battery is being
charged. The rst battery i
s c harged to between 51% a nd 100 %
of maximum capacity.
Orange: The mains adapte r is connected and the rst battery is being
charged. The rst battery is charged to between 13% and 50%
of maximum capacity.
Indicator is lit
Red:
The mains adapte r is connected and the rst batt ery is being
charged. The rst battery is charged to between 0% and 12%
of maximum capacity.

ashing quickly
(1 second on /
1 second off)
Red:
The rst battery is f
aulty.
White: The notebook is in suspend mode and power is being supplied
by the rst battery. The rst battery is charged to bet ween 51%
and 100% of ma ximum capacity.
Orange:
The notebook is in suspend mode and power is being supplied
by the rst battery. The rst battery is charged to bet ween 13%
and 50% of maximum capacity.
