You can use th e st ylus on your notebook as an electronic writing implement to select
items and to navigate through menu opti ons and programs. Programs that support
handwriting recognition also allow you to write characters directly on the screen with
thepen.Youcanalsousethestylusasadrawingtool.
The notebook stylus is retained securely in the stylus slot. This e nsures that t he stylus cannot be
lost, regardless of whether you use the notebook as a Tablet PC or as a notebook, or transport
it while traveling. Always replace the stylus in its slot w hen yo u are not using it. To remove from
the stylus slot, slide the removal button for the stylus to the front of the device to the right.
The n otebook is supplied w ith a stylus tether which you can attach to the
eyelets on the stylus and on the notebook.
