The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. T he
following modules can be operated in the module bay of your noteb ook:
• Second batt e ry
• Optical drive
• Empty plug-in unit (save weight)
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the module.
Make sure that no f oreign objects enter the module bay.
You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to switch off the n otebook.
To replace a module, simply click on the corresponding icon in the
task bar and then on Exit or Select - Exit.
The module can now be remo ved without any furth er a ctions being necessary.

► Slide the release lever in the direction of the arrow (1).
► Now pull the module out of the module bay (2).
