The keyboard of your notebook is subject to continuous wear through normal
use. The key markings are especially prone to wear. T he key m arkings are
liable to wear away over the life of the notebook.
The k eyboard has been desig
ned to provide all the functions of an enhanced keyboard.
Some enhanced keyboard fun
ctions are mapped with key combinations.
The following descriptio
n of the keys applies to the Windows operating system. A d ditional functions
supported by the keys are d
escribed in the relevant manuals supplied with your application programs.
The following illustrat
ion shows how to access the different cha racters on ke ys with overla id

pplies when the Caps Lock key has not been activated.

key deletes the character to the left of the cursor.
