Hot keys
Hot keys are the icons on the top of the keys.
The hot keys activate feature s on your device (e. g. loudpeakers on/off, microphone enable/disable,
volume increase/decrease, brightness increase/decrease). H ot keys are c onvenience fea tures.
Hot keys may be set as the primary key functionality at Windows startup (see
chapter "
F Lock se ttings", Page 35).

Enable/Disable the microphone
This hot key enables and disables the microphone.

Switch between display outputs
Use this hot key to s elect which screen(s) is/are used for display if an
external monitor is connected.
Screen output is possible:
• only on the notebook’s LCD screen
• on the LCD screen of the notebook and the external mo nitor at the
same time
• only on the external mon itor
This setting is useful if you would like a high resolution and a high
refresh rate on an external monitor.
