Removing and installing the hard disk (HDD,
LIFEBOOK U758 only)
In th e LIFEBOOK U758, you can either install an M.2 module (with co rresponding M.2 adapter, see
"
Installing and removing an M.2 m odule", Page 76) or a sta ndard hard disk (HDD, without M.2 adapter).
Removing the hard disk
► Remove the cover, see "Re move th e cover" , Page 76.
For easier removal from the device, the hard disk is installed in a hard disk carrier.

► Pull the hard disk in the direction of the arrow (1).
► Release the connector from the hard disk (2).
► Remove the hard disk from th e hard disk compartment.
