SIM card
A SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip card that is inserted into a
mobile phone or a notebook and, together with a built-in LTE module (Long-Term
Evolution), allows access to a mobile network.
Follow the instructions supplied by the provider of the SIM card.
Your notebook supports the following format: Micro SIM (15 mm × 12 mm)
Inserting the SIM card
► Switch off the battery so that the device is currentless (see "Switch the battery off and on", Page 31

► Open the cover of the SIM card slot (1)
and pull the SIM card holder out (2).

► Place the SIM card in the carrier and slide the
SIM card fully home into the slot as shown.
The contacts
point upwards. The SIM

t latch into place.
