· Chamfer the top of the main shaft as shown below. (When chamfering with a file, use a
fine file and finish the surface as smooth as possible.)
· When clamping the main shaft with a clamp, take care not to hurt the shaft surface.
· When a metal saw is used to cut the main shaft, finish the shaft top so that it is level
within 3 mm.

3. Temporarily install the waterproofing attachment on the top of the main shaft and make
holes for socket-set screws.

Push in fully. (O-ring will resist.)
a) Mark drilling point on the shaft surface by tightening M6 socket-set screws (2 pcs.)
b) Remove the waterproofing attachment.
c) Drill less than 2 mm deep holes by using a drill with a Ø5 mm and 120° tip. Do not drill
holes through the shaft. Use a low rpm drill designed for stainless steel use.

4. Remove the sheath of the transducer cable and wrap the sheath end vinyl tape.

5. Pass the main shaft through the main body flange and assemble the hull unit. Refer to
