The DSC distress alarm takes the highest priority, and it is generated in any condition whenever the
[DISTRESS] button is pressed for more than three seconds.
Order of priority of remote control by telephone from the DSC and the MF/HF radiotelephone depends
on the system setting for the MF/HF radiotelephone.

1) When connecting FS-75/2550/1562 (Ver.07 and after) with DSC-60

If the POWER ON line of the DSC-60 is connected to FS-75/2550/1562/5000/8000, the radiotelephone
can be turned on and off with the power switch of the DSC-60.That is, the radiotelephone cannot be
turned off when the DSC-60 is on. The advantage of the connection is that a distress alert can be trans-
mitted by the operation only on the DSC-60. This connection has more advantage especially when the
DSC remote control function is used.
