5. Select [2 AIS DISP FILTER].
6. Referring to the table below, set the [AIS DISPLAY FILTER] menu.
*: This menu item appears only on B/W-type radars.
7. Close the menu.
Set the AIS display mode to [DISP FILT] to show only the AIS symbols selected for
display on the [AIS DISP FILTER] menu.
Note: This function is not available for an activated target.
Filter type Definition
[SLEEPING TARGET
MAX RANGE]
Any sleeping AIS targets class A/B beyond the range set
here will not be shown. Select [ON] to set the maximum
range (00 to 99 NM).
[SLEEPING TARGET
MIN SHIP SPEED]
Any sleeping AIS targets class A/B slower than this set-
ting will not be shown. Select [ON]
to set the minimum
speed (0.0 to 9.9 kn).
[CLASS B]* Select [ON] to remove sleeping AIS targets class B.
[BASE STATION] Select [ON] to remove the AIS base station symbol.
[PHYSICAL ATON]
Select [OFF], [ON] or [UNHEALTHY]. When [UN-
HEALTHY] is selected, only physical AtoN symbols with
an error (“Off Posn”, “Unlit”, “Racon err”, “Error” or
“Missing”) are displayed.
[VIRTUAL ATON] Select [ON] to remove the AIS virtual AtoN symbol.
[PHYSICAL MATON]
Select [ON] to remove the
mobile physical AtoN symbol.
[VIRTUAL MATON]
Select [ON] to remove the
mobile virtual AtoN symbol.
[SYNTHETIC ATON]
Select [ON] to remove the
synthetic AtoN symbol.
[SAR AIRCRAFT]
Select [ON] to remove the
SAR aircraft symbol.
[SART]
Select [ON] to remove the
AIS SART symbol.
[SYNTHTIC TARGET]
Select [ON] to remove the
synthetic target symbol.
