Symbol Display

Notes
• Position: Check to show positions of Notes records with symbols on the chart.
• Range: Check to circumscribe pilot data records with circles on the display. The
size of a circle depends on the value set in Notes.
• Text: Check to show text of Notes records on the chart.
User chart
• Points: Check to show user points on user charts.
• Lines: Check to show lines on user charts.
• Symbols, Tidals: Check to show symbols and tidals on user charts.
• Areas: Check to show areas on the display. Color fill for the areas can be selected
as transparent from 25% to 75% and as No color fill. If No color fill is selected,
only the boundaries of the areas are visible.
• Display only radar of Lines, Symbols and Areas: If checked, only those Lines,
Symbols and Areas are displayed which have user selection "on radar" activated
for them in the user chart. This is used to view only that part of the user chart that
will be sent to the radar connected to the system.
Manual Updates
Check to show manual updates with orange symbols.
Note: Visibility of manual updates made as true symbols are controlled through
Standard and Other pages of the Chart Display menu.
