The TFT LCD is constructed using the latest LCD techniques, and displays
99.99% of its pixels. The remaining 0.01% of the pixels may drop out or
blink, however this is not an indication of malfunction.
About the TFT LCD
Warning labels are attached to the equipment. Do not remove any label. If a label is missing or
damaged, contact a FURUNO agent or dealer about replacement.

key except in case of a
life-endangering situation on your
vessel.
Operating the [DISTRESS] key
transmits the distress alert.
Accidental transmission may prevent
search and rescue operations for
actual emergency. If the distress alert
is accidentally transmitted, contact
the nearest station to cancel the
alert.
If the distress alert is accidentally
transmitted, contact the nearest
coast station and inform them of the
accidental
transmission, providing the
following data:
a) Ship's name
b) Ship's call sign and DSC number
c) Position at time of transmission
d) Time of transmission

Do not apply strong pressure to
the LCD, which is made of glass.
Injury can result if the LCD breaks.
